How to access OneDrive in Office 365

·     Log in to your web-mail

·     Click on the app launcher in the upper left corner

·     Click OneDrive from the list


How to create, upload and download in OneDrive

·     Click New across the top and select the type of file you want to create

·     Click Upload across the top and browse for the file you want to upload to OneDrive

·     Select the file in OneDrive you want to download and then click Download across the top


How to share folders and files (In Office 365 web-mail)

·     Select the file or folder, and then click on Share across the top

·     Choose who you would like the link to work for and set an expiration date if desired

·     Click Apply and enter the email address you wish to send the link to

Additionally, you can also view all the files shared with you. Click on Shared from the left side menu

How to Sync files to your PC

·     Search for the OneDrive Desktop App on your PC (requires Windows 10) and open it

·     When OneDrive Setup starts, enter your college email address and click Sign-In

·     On This is your OneDrive Folder screen, select Next to accept the default folder location

·     On the Sync files from your OneDrive screen, choose the folders you want to sync and select Next


 Your OneDrive files will appear in File Explorer under the OneDrive – Northwest Florida State College heading. You should also have a blue cloud in your notification area showing your   files are up to date.

 Copy or move any existing files or folders on your PC to your OneDrive folder to begin syncing them to the cloud.
