                Standard instructions on how to get an individual computer to run faster.

First open powershell as an administrator

Next input the command sfc /scannow

Allow the process to run.

If the Computer is still running slow and Disk is running at 100% or close to continue

open the Control Panel and go to Indexing Options

go to Advanced click the Rebuild button under the Troubleshooting tab then click OK to confirm the action. (This process deletes the old index and creates a new one, which can take a significant amount of time to complete)
